I didn't have access to our computer for awhile because Jill brought her Grandmother's photo album home from a family reunion and has spent considerable time scanning all of the photos onto the computer. The photos have now been uploaded to
Picasa for all of her family to share.
Check out her pictures, even if you don't know who these folks are the older pictures are interesting. I started to scan some old family photos but Jill has jumped ahead of me in the race to preserve these precious family treasures.
With all of the online photo sharing tools available I urge everyone to get out those old slides & photos, scan them into your computer and share them with your family. If you lose a slide or photo it is gone forever but when you distribute electronic copies of them across several computers you will always have a backup. Keep watching here to see if I take my own advice and I'll show you some of the best pictures as I get them scanned.
